That did it! It was touchscreen set up. I disabled it and updated now I have all the games listed. All games that were available were shooting games so I think it had to do with touch setting. Thanks for all the help!!

Oh sorry about that. Here is the ini, and I think I am using integrated MAME support, but I didn't know you could use MAME as a separate emulator or the way to set that up. GameEx.ini

I tried single rom path before, and tried again this time. Checked the log and one line says total verifiable rom is 0. Would that be a part of problem? Posting the entire log. Thanks guys!

Yes I update the list every time I change settings. I don't know what could be wrong, mame itself shows all the games and plays fine...

I have official mame 0.159 set up with mame 0.159 split rom set and chds. When I run mame or mame32 all the games get detected and I could play them. But I only see 300 some games (including clones) in gameex. I have tried many different mames and configuration other people suggested in other posts but same results. I attached my mame settings. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

So I used normal mame build 0.159 and now it does not get stuck on updating gamelist. And the gameex online works too! But mame is only showing 156 games. I have full 0.159 set and chd's. Tried settings other post suggested and tried many different versions of mame. Still the same result. What could be the issue??

I purchased lifetime membership and gameex online shows offline. Is there something I'm missing to make it work? Any help will be appreciated to get it work!
