  1. Hey all - I downloaded GAMEEX a few years back and have installed it across a few different MAME boxes. I just reloaded an older PC with Windows XP - installed the software, loaded the roms, etc. - and also pushed my registry key over to this machine. When clicking on it - it gets "added" to the registry, but each time I boot up GameEx - I'm not getting automatically pushed into the application. I get the waiting screen, 20 seconds of advertisement, etc. I'm not any form of a registry expert at all - but never had this happen last year or the year before when i added the key. Thoughts? Kevin
  2. All - Wondering if any of you have had any issues with Karate Champ for MAME via Gameex. I currently have 3 Roms in my ROMS folder - kchamp.zip, kchampvs.zip, and kchampvs2.zip. Ultimately, I'm only looking to play the VS version - as the standard US is not the one I prefer. I've got my configuration setup wizard set to "I WANT CLONES" and to allow "duplicates" - but I can't seem to see these games after updating my list. If I go direct to MAME and run from the MAME search page, all 3 roms appear and work properly. Any thoughts on these? As a follow up to the problem, I deleted 2 of the 3 ROMS from the ROMS folder on my PC - and did an UPDATE list - but the US version still keeps showing in the GameEx listing. And when I try to run that, it just hangs and comes back to the main screen - as it won't connect to a rom that isn't there. Are there ways to ensure my UPDATE LIST - or refresh - is really working? Kevin
  3. Hey all.. sorry for the silence. Didn't have a chance to mess with my MAME all week and Gameex. The VERIFY ROMS - was the issue. I disabled that and the CHD games are now showing in the list! Thanks for your help! Kevin
  4. Right. And again, if I click into MAME.EXE by itself, I can run and play the games just fine. I can't really figure it out. They also won't show up in the SEARCH list within GAMEEX - it shows NO GAMES FOUND. But they're listed on MAME.
  5. Not sure what you're asking me for... an update to the overall program, or an update to the games list?
  6. Looking for a little bit of help in CHD setup. I finally got around to getting a higher end PC with an updated graphics card, so wanted to play some CHD games that I've had the ROMS/CHDs for - but never could play in the past. Currently, I have the file path to be - EXAMPLE: MAME>ROMS>blitz99.zip and MAME>ROMS>blitz99 (file folder - where CHD resides). I can run MAME independently of GAME EX and get the games to play, but can't seem to make them appear in GAME EX at all. I can't find them via the SEARCH and they don't show in the CHD menu either. Any thoughts on what's going on? Kevin
