I cannot get DMDex to work. Not even the dmdex test after installing it. in the CMD prompt I get "dmdext test is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." I am lost.

Sorry for the vague title for this thread. I have my cabinet 90% built and I am ready to start setting up tables. Also I have a 2 screens and a DMD on the way and a plunger from virtuapin. I see people using visual, future, fx2, zaccaria tables. But myself being new with no local resources I am trying to not setup myself up for failure. What are the easist tables to setup for someone with no experience? What systems support cabinet modes and DMDs? I have tried googling these questions I see no clear answers as it seems people have work arounds. I am trying to ease into it and not get frustrated and have fun as I progress. Thanks in advance.

What is the point of DMD videos doesnt make the scoring impossible to see? Yes I am a noob and I lots of cool setups on youtube but no idea of what I see.

Thanks Draco. I was thinking there would be matching that would need to happen. I have not looked at the Game Manager but I will go there first,' Side question. Is there a way to have the DMD on a real DMD and if so where is a guide? I have done some searches and couldn't find anything obvious.

I am sorry for posting thus here but I only have my phone and for some reason I am having difficulties navigating the forums. I just built a new new mame setup and reinstalled GameEx. I have a lifetime membership and need a code. How do I get one?

Thanks all for your help. It was in fact the drivers. TThurman gave the perfect advice as Windows did in fact overwrite the video drivers during an update recently. This place rocks!!

I tried a different theme (default) and I tried regular Gameex.

I just did a new install and paid for a years registration. I am completely new to this. I have a pc with 4 Gig RAM and I have a ASUS Micro ATX A88xm-Plus with a AMD A6-5400K APU. So no video card. Ikeep getting this error.
