Thanks for the reply, I'll try out winamp and see if that works, didn't think to try that. If it does use a different file extention for playlists other than .wpl I wonder what it is?

All my music is on one hard drive d:\music I have set Audio files to d:\music And I have placed my playlists in d:\music, but still unable to see them. I have also placed them in there own folder in d:\music Can anyone help?

Hi every, just a quick question I'm having problems with. I have the jukebox mode set to 'file audio tag' to load my music quickly as I have a rather large collection, which works great. But now I can't see my playlists. Do I have to place them somewhere different? If I change the jukebox mode back to 'media player' They show up. Anyone struck this before? I have tried seaching for my answer, but found nothing. Also checked the setup, but find nothing relating to a playlist path as such Please help

Sweet thanks for the info. I'll check out that program 'Girder'. Might download the software you get with the case, and check it out too. What sort of cases does everyone here have? thats if it's a HTPC that you have GameEX on.

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone could help me with a few questions. I'm looking at buying this case with remote control. http://www.thinkcomputers.org/index.php?x=...=596&page=1 Has anyone out there used this remote to control GameEX? and if so is it easy enough to setup? And can it do everything that the MMC remote can do? This case is exactally what I want, but will be let down if I can't use the reomte with GameEX. I know it comes with software, but to hell with that, GameEX is too good not to use Cheers

After playing with the sofware and finding out what it could do, it was an easy decision. Best dam money I have spent on the internet for ages. Great deal, and great software!

I think this is the same problem I had a while back. Can't exactially remember, but I think it was something to do with my folder structure. Keep the mame.exe and all other directories including the roms folder under the same directory. eg, mame /roms mame.exe Just try it and see if it works. I had my mame.exe on a different HDD from my roms etc and had nothing under neo-geo but did for the others

Count me in. Just helping my brother to set up a HTPC so I could give it to him if I win (I already bought one for my HTPC)

I have just been given a microsoft media center remote control, and wanted to use it with GameEX. All is well except I can't see anywhere I can change what the buttons do? Is there a program I can use to configure this remote? Or is there a way to use the green 'start' button to start GameEX and not MMC? Everything does as I need except launching gameEx off the remote without going through media center. Please Help Blair

Ok got it sorted, it helps if you keep everything together, my bad.

I am having problems getting my neogeo and cps lists, within the mame menu, to show the games. All other catagory's show correctly except these ones. They are just reporting 'no games found' I do have them enabled in the setup, and have the latest versions of mame32 and catver.ini I can see the other lists like 'light gun' etc Anyone out there have this problem too, or know how to fix it? All games play ok, I just cannot see neogeo ones listed seperatly. I can however see them in the 'all games' list. And they will load ok. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
