  1. It's a keyboard encoder.
  2. I'm using a keywiz max encoder and I cannot get the joystick to key the page up/down when I map it out on the joystick. I'm able to get my player 1 & 2 buttons to perform ENTER and BACK, but I'm puzzled why I cannot use the joystick to page up/down. Not sure what else I can do. I'm ready to move on to another Frontend if I cannot have this function
  3. Where do I find Gamelauncher mode? I was able to map my buttons for ENTER and BACK, but I really want to use the joystick for UP,DOWN, PAGE UP, PAGE DOWN. Will Gamelauncher help me with this or is there a feature in GameEx that will do this for me? I couldn't find the input for page up/down in the scan code file when I enabled keyboard input.
  4. Is there any way I can control the GameEx menu with only joysticks and not the mouse? For example, I would like the player 1 or 2 joystick have the ability to scroll down by pushing down, and then be able to page down by pushing right, etc. Also, I would like to be able to map certain buttons to use for ENTER or starting a game. Is there a way to do this? Thanks.

    Daphne Help

Just received laserdisc roms. Everything works outside of GameEx in Daphne. All games play great, however; when I try to run Daphne via GameEx, the screen goes to black and when I pull up Windows Task Manager it tells me Daphne has encountered an error. In a previous thread, Brian Hoffman suggested that the person has the latest codecs installed like k-lite codecpack. I have the Ace Mega codec professional pack installed. Is that really the issue or am I doing something else wrong? I tried following the video tutorial on the website but I'm not sure the rom path is correct. I'm a little confused about renaming it and adding an underscore followed by a number from 0-60. Not sure what that means. FYI- I enabled Daphne in GameEx and enabled the individual game(s). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  6. So can I set up a snap window while using a theme? If so, how do I do it?
  7. I'm trying to run GameEx theme at 640x288 cause I have an ArcadeVGA connected to my pc. When I go into advanced configuration, I changed the x&y resolution to 640x288 like the manu suggested but when I run GameEx, the screen is still way too big. How can I change the resolution for the GameEx theme?
  8. I recently hooked up my arcade vga card while running gameex. In the advanced configuration, I selected arcade vga so gameex would recognize the different resolutions for each game. However, when I run some vertical games within gameex the screen is very small. When I use Mame32 the same game is much bigger and is playable. Can anyone tell me what to do so I can play games in their native resolution and can use gameex. Thanks.
  9. Can anyone help me figure out how to add a snap window in the NexGen theme. I really like how the theme looks however I'm unable to get any snaps to see what the games look like. Any help would be great.
  10. How do I turn off Arcade Ambiance? Can I toggle on/off? I don't want it always on in the backgroud. I figured it out under config>Audio
  11. Got it to work myself but thanks for the reply.
  12. Hi. I have been using GameEx for a couple of weeks now. Everything was working fine until yestreday when I tried to update my Mame game list. During the update I accidentally exited out of GameEx. Ever since I did that GameEx does not show any Mame games and it doesn't give me the option to update my game list. Any suggestions on how I can fix this? I just installed newest version and now can't get GameEx to work.
