Pandemonium replied to scurvy's topic in General
You may find this useful http://tomspeirs.com/gameex/Shell.htm worked well for me -
As the error log says "path does not exist " so go back and check your path for this emulator
-
I use the mirror from my bedroom and place it in front, then at lest you can see what you are doing ! It took a whille to find the sweet spot that works for every game and windows but it works great now

How do you mean properly ? As I have my windows on my cab set as 640 x 480 on a 20" Hoz Monitor I have set Zsnes (In Config ,Video) to run at 640x480 DS FULL Works good for me .
-
When you pay, tom then emails you a Registry File ,Which you then add and then that removes the nag screen .

I had the same problem but this should fix it , Problem: (USB Only) Board appears not to work until WinJPAC is run every time. Yellow exclamation marks in Control Panel, Device Manager. This is a rare problem, and is caused by a registry error. It is suspected that this problem occurs if the board is regularly swapped from one USB port to another, or different board versions used on the same PC. Microsoft have been alerted to this problem. To fix this problem, download this file: IPacfix and click on it. This deletes all references to the J-PAC in the registry. Then unplug and reconnect the board. If you would rather do this manually here is what to do: The fix involves registry editing, the usual caution should be observed. Run regedit, and open Hkey_Local_Machine/System/CurrentControlSet/Enum/HID and delete the keys containing VID D209 Also Hkey_Local_Machine/System/CurrentControlSet/Enum/USB and delete the same keys. You might have to right-click and set permissions to do this. Unplug and re-connect the board. Mine works fine now but only on the default settings , If I try to reprogram it does not work , but the defaults should be fine for you

Its Professor Pac-Man. Produced by Bally Midway in 1983. Designed to capitalize on the perceived quiz game niche, the game presents simple visual puzzles and requires the player to solve each within a short time limit. However, despite the game's use of the popular Pac-Man character, Professor Pac-Man proved largely unsuccessful due to its slow pace and its abandonment of the pills and ghosts maze game. The game is for one player or two (taking turns) and consists of answering multiple-choice questions before time runs out. The timer is a Pac-Man eating a row of dots; The more dots left when a correct answer is given, the higher the score awarded. As the levels progress, the dots disappear more quickly. Bonus questions are given after several correct answers. The game ends when a certain number of questions are answered wrong, or when time runs out.

brilliant work tom , Thanks
-
Yeah go download the new Version: 81.98, work fine for me Nvidia Drivers

Have you set the mame path and rom path in the GameEX Config as well ? All you need to do as well is load GameEX and click Update list . so this then updates your mame rom list for use with it.
-
Also if you update your Catlist and extract it to your mame dir and direct and update your GameEx config in Advanced Mame settings helps as well. Catlist
-
Run GameEX config , then its under Advanced mame setting , Its the 7th one down on the first page then next page. NO Adult games. Gimme the porn . Edit: sorry for being a halfwit, I just re read your post , check that you have hide update turned to no in Enable/disable features in config , and double check that your mame & roms set to the right path other wise update games dont show . My Update games is on my main mame game list (yeah I know my roms are low I am just putting them back on my cab )

I could make you one if you wanted , you would need to tell me which GameEx logo you wanted though ? Here is one I made before (its a bit rough round the edges as your only allowed to use 16 colours ) Oh and if it ok with tom as well ??
