It's so amazing to me that the solution was that simple. The setup on the Xarcade page told me to use Mame Plus. Oh well. Everything works great now. Game ex is by far the best FE. So much awesomeness. Thank you guys for your help too. So great. Now to send some money to the developers. And play some games.

No, didn't rename it. That was what it's showed up as... Not sure why.

Forgot to mention. Mame runs fine outside of GE.

Yes, everything showed back up... Games, art, etc. Went to try 1942 and it tries to open MAME, it say initializing and then right back to GE.

I updated Game EX and installed MAME from the mamedev site. same result. Games show up and simply loop back into GameEx while trying to load/play. Thank you everyone.

Amazing. I downloaded the "old" version last night. I'll for sure update though. I'm almost overwhelmed at everthing GameEx has to offer. Insane. I'll for sure be sending my financial support in. Such a great program. And, a great community. I've already asked one question and everyone is pretty darned helpful. Great stuff.

Great. Thank you so much. I'll get the .ini files and such this evening...or tomorrow. Soon though...Should I also try the official MAME build from the mamedev site? I went with mameplus as it was recommended on the XArcade site. Thank you again.

Okay, last night I got everything set up and love everything about Game Ex. I've used Maximus Arcade before and wanted a change...There's a bug with MA and the Xarcade Tankstick. Anyways, everything looks great. All of emulators and roms show up and play perfect. But, the MAME games do not load. They loop back into Game Ex. It looks like it wants to load and play...However, if I set up MAME as an emulator they work fine... I'm at work right now. Just thought someone may have an idea...I'll post my log TXT tonight. Thank you guys so much. BTW I'm running MAME plus. Windows 7 64...
