I've downloaded the new beta but have not had a chance to mess around with it yet.

You can find everything you need to get started at the following sites: http://vpforums.org - VP installer plus hundreds of tables and roms http://vpuniverse.com - Tables not hosted at VPF http://roguepinball.com - Lots of EMs not hosted at either site Follow the Getting Started link at VPF and you will be good to go. If your system can handle it, get VP 9.90a. Only a few tables aren't compatible with it which means you will also need 9.20

My problem occured when I actually used the Game Manager to import new wheels for tables. If I just rename the new wheel correctly, then there are no problems. If I use Import Media Pack, it is fine, problems arise when importing individual files.

Check for any other files that might be named wrong also. In terms on resetting the games list, you could always delete the xml and start over that way, or just delete the affected games and re add them to see if that fixes it.

I had that happen once with a T2 wheel image. I deleted the image and the problem went away. Not sure if it was named wrong but deleting it fixed the problem

Thanks for adding the Game Name at the ROM selection screen! Makes it much easier to find the correct ROM. Real DMD videos work great until PinballX comes across a game assigned a ROM to play, then all Real DMD videos no longer play. So far no issue with any ROMS not working when assigned, only through about 10 though. SAM roms working so far also, at least 24 does.

Working good so far. Some roms are displaying on the DMD without me needing to specify which to run

I always unzip the VP tables to the Tables directory. Don't think you can use them zipped. To add tables, use the Game List Manager. I use both HyperPin MEdia files and videos(not from emumovies) with no problems, so not sure why they wouldn't work. Rudy
