Got it working! Tom, you were right, it had to do with the graphics card, I've set a lower resolution and presto, all is working! Thanks and apologies for the hassle... BTW in case it happens again to someone else: video card = NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 128mb Resolution failed at : 800 x600 reso working at : 600 x 480 ArcadeVga working fine at 600 x288! Cheers, Marcb

Hi, I'm running Windows 98se ... come to think of it, it is odd that it's reporting as unknown (?) The video card isn't sharing memory, it has 128mb on board. As per usual, I did omit something that may be crucial, on first run, GameEx appeared to be running i.e I saw the 'loading' screen etc.. and then exited without showing the log. On subsequent runs the loading screen doesn't appear but I can see the window being set up etc.. and then it exits and loads the log..
