I'm having this problem too. Sometimes it takes several minutes to come back. I'm using Windows 7 Rc1. fresh install. latest version of gameex and mame.

So you can't use usb controllers for Mame when using gamex for a frontend without additional software?

does the pinnacle profiler mess up the analog gamepad controls? If its mapped to the keyboard, how does it handle the analog movements in Mame?

It is already enabled. Actually, The joystick does work when navigating gameex but once I launch the mame game, it no longer works.

I can use my Gravis usb gamepad in mame32 but when I access Mame32 through gameex my gamepad no longer works. i can then exit gamex and launch mame32 independently and the gamepad works again. Any ideas? thanks.

I fixed it!! I went into mame32 and set the aspect ratio to "Auto" thanks for all the help! Mine get deleted when exiting the game. Is this not normal?

Yes. the file gets written to the artwork folder and the proper V2 files are in the zip folder. then when the game escapes the file is deleted. Does this mean it's a MAME32 issue?

ok. I installed the proper versin of Mame32. I removed all the bezel files from the artwork folder in Mame. The only files left in there are the scanline artworks. Yes. there are 2 files in the BezelV2 folder. I updated mame list in Game-ex. Still no bezel. Just black on each side.

i just registered game-ex and am excited about the vert games bezel feature. I can't get it to work. I enabled it in the config. What else do I need to do? I have 2 folders in MEDIA with the game-ex bezel (BEZEl and BEZELV2) Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am using MAME32 version 110

I do have complete sets. I even created a new have.txt file from the roms I have. still the same problem.

I'm merging my sets and keep getting lots of these type of errors: "Error: No ROMs found matching "Fantasia (E) [!].*" and so on... What should I do? thanks.

Currently when game-ex runs, Windows monitor shutoff after period of inactivity does not work. Please have an option to shutoff monitor after period of inactivity. This is very important to me.

i see that but what i need is: when running emulaters such as nestopia, i'd like to be able to escape and go back to the game-ex gui by hitting the leftbracket key. (that's what i use on my controlpanel to escape from mame). Is this possible?

Can I import my existing favorites from mame32? where are the favorites stored in Game-ex? 2. I'd like to change mapkeys to a different key instead of Esc. is this possible? 3. I tried exaclty as you suggested and it do not help.

I'm having the exact same problem but can't solve it. I went to config and disabled all filters and still the flickering graphic and no update. Is there a way for me to delete the orginal game list and start over? Maybe by clearing it before updatin it will help. thanks.
