  1. What you can do is create a BAM.xml inside your PinballX/Future Pinball database folder and add only the BAM tables to that xml. Then you can select the BAM list from within PinballX and it will only show those tables in the list. Same goes for other systems. I created a Future Pinball Zed.xml in my Future Pinball folder and added all my Zed tables. I also created a Marvel.xml, Zen.xml and Star Wars.xml in the Pinball FX2 and added the tables in the appropriate xml files. This way it keeps them separate if needed AND you can have them all displayed when choosing All Tables.
  2. Feature enhancement: Add a 2 minute entry to the "Show Game For" option for the Attract Mode (of if at all possible have an entry screen where you can specify your own length - ie 2:01 for 2 minutes, 1 second). This is for those of us with videos longer than 60 secs Thanks!
  3. Here is a brief video I captured today showing off PinballX, FutureDMD, Future Pinball and B.A.M. together. The table is Oblivion (by Jipar) and all the media is as you see and hear through PinballX. Everything works exceptionally well together.

    Night mode MODs

Tables are adjusted to make it look like you are in a dark room and all you see are the illuminations from lights and flashers etc...
  5. I can confirm that it now opens and closes properly both with BAM and without BAM using this test version.
  6. Best place to get answers is over at VPForums (Visual Pinball), GoPinball (Future Pinball) and VPUniverse. PinballX is more of a frontend support place as opposed to actual FP/VP program support.
  7. The talk is not only 2 monitor support, but also a separate DMD making it 3 active devices
  8. I added the wheel after I read your post (about an hour ago)
  9. if Horsey or Circo don't beat me to it I'll do up the remaining videos. Batman - Joker Edition wheel is up on pinsimdb
  10. The fxkeys are irrelevant now (for me at least) since the latest updates allow you to remap in the actual game to whatever keys you want.
  11. Haven't tried any older builds but I've since a bug where I have the following Table name in my database Pinball FX2.xml called Zen-E (for the Excalibur table). For some reason it keeps pulling up the media for Biolab (which I have named Zen-BL in my xml). The only other E title I have listed is Z-ED for ElDorado and Z-EQ for Epic Quest. If I change it from Z-E to Z-EX then it loads the proper media. For some reason using just Z-E keeps loading Z-BL media. I have a workaround (using Z-EX) but I thought I'd throw this out there in case someone else runs across a similar issue. Note: I also use other letters (ie Z-M for Zen Mars and Z-T for Zen Tesla and M-A for Marvel Avengers etc. and haven't had any issues with those. Only seems to be Z-E so far).
  12. Just noticed Circo already made these videos (although shorter and only of the playfield - not flybys). Disregard my post above (I'll just keep mine offline).
  13. just uploaded 2 quick videos I captured and encoded of Epic Quest to the FTP Site. One is of the playfield (with music) and the 2nd is of a flyby (also with music). Check the vids out and see if they are worthwhile. They are under the Media/PinballFX2/Table Videos folder. Edit: Also just did Star Wars Empire Strikes Back Flyby.
  14. in my case I want to utilize my backglass in its true orientation of 1920x1080 widescreen (instead of 1080x1920 vertical) - so running a 3rd screen for the DMD would allow me to do that. Currently I'm limited to a square of 1080x1080 (give or take) with the DMD located below. It's more just to get a more pleasant looking backglass Not complaining with my current setup - just looking for ways to make it look better and with PinballX it allows me to do this. VP already supports a 3rd screen and hopefully soon Macro's dll will allow DMD output to a monitor as well as a real DMD.
  15. if you encode a DMD video and assign it to your 3rd monitor location, then yes
  16. I threw together a really quick video showing 3 monitors after getting my USB2VGA adapter today for testing (Playfield running Video and Music, Backglass running Video and DMD running video on 3rd monitor using a USB2VGA Adapter). Currently my setup is a 2 monitor with the backglass rotated running both the backglass video AND dmd but my intention now with the USB2VGA is to rotate the backglass back to landscape and add the 3rd monitor below the backglass. PinballX is the main reason for my change as it is the first frontend to fully support 3 monitors with video. Thank Tom for this great software!
  17. well - I've got about 400 FP tables installed and they all have the libraries shared in the same libraries folder and have never had a problem (but thats my own observation). There are duplicate libraries in some older EM tables but they've never presented a problem to me and any duplicates in the other tables are identical if you compare the date/time/sizes. But again - this is my own observation
  18. I'm running a quadcore and yeah - I have seen the same performance issue. My playfield videos are 1920x1080 with music and my backglass videos are 1080x1920 (vertical) but still it should be able to handle it (HP can play them). I'm thinking it might be decoding / codecs since a new splitter was required under Pinballx to play the same flash videos that HP plays without needing additional splitters. Gonna dig deeper into it over next few days when I get some free time.
  19. Nice to see 1.05. Thought I was losing my mind with the backglass videos not working for me
  20. Donation just sent Love how quick this FE has progressed in a day

    Table Videos?

Another feature request - not sure if its possible but could you have a 3rd video section (maybe entitled DMD) where it could launch another video but much smaller and have it play on a 3rd location at a set x,y or even on a 3rd monitor. That way you could have a table video, a backglass video and a DMD/wheel video?

    Table Videos?

Tom - can you also add an x,y offset feature for the backglass as well? I hope all these requests aren't becoming annoying

    Table Videos?

Another request if possible. The backglass videos stop playing after it reaches the end of the video (similar issue in HP). Is it possible to have the backglass videos loop like the playfield videos do? Also - can you add an attract mode where it cycles randomnly through your tables at a set interval (that you set in an ini?)

    Table Videos?

Backglass videos are in the same format as the playfield videos. You can find them at the usual pinball places.
