  1. I did a search for .flv files on this forum and only saw someone else asking the same question I have. I would love to be able to see my .flv files on the media browser / preview them when selected / play them with a click. Is it possible to do so with the config or is it just not supported? Please let me know if there is somewhere in the forum that gives me the answer to this if previously discussed. As you can see by the rank next to my profile, I am a "newbie" to the forum although I am not a newbie to the front end. If I have posted this feature request out of place for the third time in a row, I apologize. Also, after using this program for years now and I have to say that I am infinitely impressed by Tom's dedication to the frontend. Donation in my case was a no-brainer. Thanks for an awesome product and let me know if .flv files can happen, Tristan
  2. Upon further scrutiny and headahce I found that it happens only when I try using the red theme. I don't know whay; but it does. Oh well, now I'm using the default and it works.
  3. My cabinet was running an older version of game-ex until a few days ago when I decided to upgrade. After upgrading and launching game-ex, I found that I can't scroll through any items in any menu with my mouse or joystick. It does, however highlight anything I mouse over on the toolbar above the menu and I can move the cursor to the left or right with my joystick. I'm not running anything alse and before upgrading, everything was perfect before so I know everything is hooked up correctly. I tried a USB mouse and PS2 mouse as well as trying to play with settings in Game-ex such as mouse enabled etc. No luck. I also uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. I would love to be able to continue using Game-ex as a one time donator to the cause; but might have to go elsewhere if the problem can't be solved. I would love if anyone could shed light on the situation. I scowered the forum for anything similar and one other person was having the same problem. He was running a touchscreen too though with the same result. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tristan
  4. Finally!! Thanx Headkaze you rock!! BTW great idea about the control panels upon pausing mame. I hope that the idea comes to fruition soon. Good luck Tom. Thanks again!! criticalmass33
  5. I've spent the better part of today trying to get visual pinball to load from gameex. After much searching and much frustration I cannot seem to get the tables to load from gameex. I've read many posts saying that they try to load the table and it comes right back to gameex. I tried using all of the suggestions that ve\arious helpfuls have posted and none of them work. They all seem to have xpfix4 or five in common though, a file that I do not have and cannot locate anywhere on this forum or vpforums.com etc. If there is anyone out there that has this file for download or knows where I can download I would really appreciate it.
  6. I have the entire romset for mame version 0.88 on my computer and am running mame version .96 with game-ex but when I "update list" thousands of roms that are present in my rom folder do not show up on the list. Every single NEO-GEO game but irritating maze is missing and I have no earthly clue why. When I had an earlier version of game-ex loaded on another computer with the same romset everything worked just fine. If anyone could give me any insight whatsoever I would be most grateful. I would also like to know what game-ex is looking for when it updates the list. Thank you, Tristan
