Hi Tom, i hope I´m Right in this place, years ago i bought the gameex soft and build my pc new, i installed it on win10 and get the nagscreen now, why is this so? i put the regkey in the gamex Folder , i guess this is the Right way ? Can you help?
-
Yeah - this rocks - many many thanks guys
-
Ah , alright - it works. Could I be able - and how - to make a new .exe in that way - so that I don´t have to load Gameex first. I´m running a PC with iMon Software for my Display and there is a tool called application launcher where I could list several .exe´s.So it will be nice by doing it that way. In the other ways Gameex is working fine.
-
Yeah - this works. It would be great to compile an exe or script to do this automatically!?

What are the command to launch a cd from ePSXe? are there any commands or keyboard shortcuts to call the cd?
-
How and where could i change the font an d the fontsize?

First I will say , the Programm is worth the money and Great Work. But we all spend our Time for testing each new version , didn´t we? But I think you should remove this nag screen. You call it freeware , but with this nagscreen it isn´t real freeware anymore. It´s like Donationsware. So think it over and as you know Americans first shoot and then ask. I´m not american but I want you to keep this in mind , that you´re dealing with something , that isn´t real freeware anymore. I just won´t get missunderstood and my Opinion is that the Programm is worth the money and I would spend for it. But others could think different ways , so it will be good to remove this screen. And let´s us all working together cheers The Storm

Looks good , but don´t use the daisy!!!! Turn the deep purpleish into black -> would look better i think
-
Yes , i know. I mean a black theme that looks like brushed alu.
-
A black theme will be good , too , because it comes very clear on TV.

The cdxa reader is needed to play svcd´s.Or sometimes we could use the riff-cdxa-filter. I read this for other htpc frontends and it worked.
-
I´ve got no sound when playing a DVD. I set Use ffdshow to true and it´s installed on my system , but i got no sound. I only got sound , when playing DVD´s with AC3-sound. Other soundstandards like PCM or m2v doesn´t work. I use Power DVD 5 and use it as mpeg2 Decoder. When I start Power DVD alone , I have sound when playing these DVD´s.And plying SVCD´s works with Power DVD fine , but GameEx doesn´t work. I guess I should install the CDXA Reader?

Thanks Tom , I will have a look.

GameEx is now working great for me - it rocks. Thanks Tom 2 Things: Launching External Applications works great , too - but it seems that can only put up to 25 Applications in it. Is there a chance to launch a higher number? I mean , i have many many mini games working with that way , but i have more games than 25!!! Or is there a chance (maybe in the next version) to implement a file launcher - so that i make a group with shortcuts on the hdd (all .exe or .ink files) and could launch them??

That´s right . Search for Autolog on XP.B.T.W. there are several programms (Tweakers) that can do that ,too , like Tune Up Utilities or others. I think xp Powertools can do that , too. But regedit is a simple way , too Good Luck
-
I´m very glad Tom. I liked GameEX from the beginning. The Frontend is the one I always dreamed off. Now I must look and get all the Nintendo Emus working. I hope I get the ePSXe running better , the problems are still there.
-
Installed new Version , Put the Emu and Rom Folder on C And IT WORKS. F++king great. I think this would be my Problem with PSXe , too? I will test it and will tell you
-
o.K. Tom I will take your new version and put the enus on partition C or D. I will tell you , if it would work. thanks a lot

Sorry I didn´t mean the ZNES because I didn´t testet it yet. I just speak abaut the visual Gameboy sdl. Would it help to post a logfile?
-
Sorry , but it runs not.It seems to load , but then the Desktop appears and it goes back to gameEx.Any Ideas?
-
Did you use them succesfully?? O.K. to ePSXe :I set debug off and turned Show Desktop to TRUE. And it will work. It looks not pretty good to have the Desktop before your eyes. When i exit with esc. it took a while and the emu seems to close and go back to game ex. When i start another game I see that the previus Game is still running!? When i set Debug to ON ; and Show Desktop to false ; à will have to push another key to start and it works fine.Closing with esc works fine to. So Tom wrote to start ePSXe in fullscreen with direcct X -----How???? @sydarora. The gba doesnt´t work.I will have alook at it later.I think i made a mistake somewhere.I will reply later (maybe tomorrow) What Version of GameEx did you use? I´m using 3.6... Maybe you could post other Emulator settings? Like Nes , Snes , N64....
-
o.k I will have a look. Did you use for Nintendo NES , SNES or N64 these emulators from this site?
-

-
