Folks, I know this is probably an easy question, but for the life of me I have not been able to find the answer by reading the documentation and forum posts. If I have missed something, please accept my apology in advance. I have a relatively simple goal, to launch MSFT flight simulator FSX from my MCE 2005 system. I have a USB joystick that I can connect to my HTPC when needed, so I don't need remote emulation of a joystick, etc... I want to be able to select My games from the MCE menu, and fire up FSX, play it, and then when the game ends return to the MCE 2005 shell. From the seature list, it looks like GameEX can do this, but I can't seem to find out how. I don't need to run emulated console games, etc... Just FSX for now, and maybe others later. MY HTPC has a 7900GTO accelerate in it and is being driven by an overclocked opteron 165. It's in a seperate rack from the actual room with the TV, so noise is less of an issue. I am driving a Sony 60" A2000 1080p native display through an DVI-> HDMI adapter if that helps. I would like GameEx to use the monitor's native 1920x1080 resoltion if possible. Audio is fed via SP/DIF through a DDL enabled sound card. Is GameEx overkill for doing what I want? Any help would be appreciated. thanks, Mike
