Ok this is not related to GameEx per say, but, I don't know where else to ask for help, and since this forum has been of great help maybe you guys have an idea. I got this SNES to USB adapter, you can connect 2 game pads to it and use your SNES on your PC, its awesome to play some SNES all fine on this, but I added an SNES port to my NES controller so I could connect it to the adapter, and it almost works... everything responds and works except it shows some buttons as always pressed, buttons that are not even on my NES controller, maybe its my wiring (schematics are not that clear as how to do this, they are several versions out there :S ) , maybe its the adapter who knows, this would not even bother me as the other buttons work as they should, but I can't configure the controller on any emulator that requires me to "push" the button to map it, since it will always detect a pushed button, to make matters worse, I can't even navigate GameEx with it as it seems one of the buttons is mapped bu default to be the "ok" and gameEx turns crazy when the game pad is connected. so my question is, is there a way on windows 7 to disable some buttons for my gamepad profile? the NES controller only has 4 buttons, the profile (or properties) shows it as having 16 buttons, and 4 of those are always pressed or if anyone has done this (convert a NES controller to SNES) care to share your schematics? I hope I made myself clear, I am attaching a screeshot to show the pressed buttons.
