  1. Sorry to revive an old post, but instead of opening a new one with the same problem, I Will just ask here. I have the same problem, my game card does not update I just moved everything from my main PC to a new PC with XBMC and GameEx and no mater what, my Gamecard is not updating I ran the reg like 5 times now, how do I know if my GameEx is actually reading my reg as it should? Thanks
  2. Ah nice! you reminded me of Mednafen! Thanks
  3. wow, I still have my PS2 laying around... thats why I never looked for one, but I am impress by PCSX2 looks amazing!
  4. sorry for the OT and the noob questions, but, there is a PS2 emu??? :|
  5. I only use Snes9x and Nestopia, the others I just tested. roms always been uncompressed, except when I was testing, but .map files have the uncompressed roms showing and no .zip in any of them
  6. in fact I am sure that is the problem, if I edit data.db3 and change the .zip to the corresponding names, they games appear on the last played, favorites and times played
  7. I think I know what the problem is... I opened up data.db3 and notices that it says "3 Ninjas Kick Back (USA).zip" but my roms are all on SFC and it also says "1942 (JU) [!].zip" for the NES ones, but again my roms are uncompressed, but the favorite is correct "1942 (JU) [!].nes" and favorites do work on gameex, so maybe it is looking for a "zip" file and since it doesn't exist on the "map" it doesn't show it?
  8. no .7z files on my "emulated games" rom folders, all of my roms are uncompressed (.nes and .sfc for snes) but my mame set is in .7z merged attached is my data.db3 and a backup I did before I reinstalled it DATA.zip
  9. I was moving BSNES settings around to see if I could make it see my roms, but no go, I gave up on BSNES but I haven't removed it from my list, but I don't think that has to do with my problem would it? favorites work well, its just the last played and the "total plays" that don't get updated at all for "emulated games" and "most played" doens't show them either, but it works for MAME
  10. here is the ini and the log the "total plays" don't get updated either gameex.ini log.txt
  11. The setting to show last played game is on "Yes" for all of my emulators... will I loose all my configurations if I delete de data.db3 file? or just the favorites and such ? edit: never mind, I did it, and it didn't delete my settings, but it also didn't fixed the problem here is my ini file
  12. I am only interested in Twitter, don't even have FB, but I know you can monitor twitter from FB by using #fb in your tweets, so if you manage to do it for twitter it could work on both I've developed several "clients" for twitter using PHP I am sure its easy using the .net API, unfortunately I've got no idea on how to develop a GameEx Plugin, which brings me to the next question, is there a simple documentation on the plugin API ?
  13. I am not sure if this is a bug, but I've noticed that the "Last Played" list only has MAME games, no other emulators appear on the list, although when I hover over the menu it shows my real last game played. I've attached 2 screen shots, notice one shows "Blaster Master" which is a NES game, and after I enter the menu, it only shows mame games anyone else notice that? is there an option for this? or is this how its suppose to be? Also, it seems all the games (other than MAME) I've played say "Times Payed: N/A" "Last Played: N/A" even if I just played the game Thanks
  14. was looking for a twitter plugin, to do this exact same thing, this is a very old thread but, has anything come from this? I think it would be great promotion for GameEx
  15. yeah I was afraid of that, can't find any info on the net at all about this the thing is I can't do anything with the gamepad, as it always detects buttons as pressed I cannot create a profile on any emulator or any other soft that uses the gamepad directly, I guess I'll just stick to my SNES gamepad and try to get a NES to USB adapter directly Thanks!
  16. Ok this is not related to GameEx per say, but, I don't know where else to ask for help, and since this forum has been of great help maybe you guys have an idea. I got this SNES to USB adapter, you can connect 2 game pads to it and use your SNES on your PC, its awesome to play some SNES all fine on this, but I added an SNES port to my NES controller so I could connect it to the adapter, and it almost works... everything responds and works except it shows some buttons as always pressed, buttons that are not even on my NES controller, maybe its my wiring (schematics are not that clear as how to do this, they are several versions out there :S ) , maybe its the adapter who knows, this would not even bother me as the other buttons work as they should, but I can't configure the controller on any emulator that requires me to "push" the button to map it, since it will always detect a pushed button, to make matters worse, I can't even navigate GameEx with it as it seems one of the buttons is mapped bu default to be the "ok" and gameEx turns crazy when the game pad is connected. so my question is, is there a way on windows 7 to disable some buttons for my gamepad profile? the NES controller only has 4 buttons, the profile (or properties) shows it as having 16 buttons, and 4 of those are always pressed or if anyone has done this (convert a NES controller to SNES) care to share your schematics? I hope I made myself clear, I am attaching a screeshot to show the pressed buttons.
  17. where do you guys get it for 5 dlls? its 9.99 on the site...
  18. haha don't worry I won't blame you, I am sure Xpadder could be something I could use for other stuff too if that doesn't work for me thanks for the reply, I am going to test it out
  19. Thanks I was browsing theur forum, but since I cannot register ( I need to buy it) and I can't seem to find any info on this, are you sure you can do multiple buttons on the gamepad for one keystroke? the videos seem like its a very complex program
  20. Sorry if this has been answered before, I did search the forums but didn't find anything relevant does anyone know if its possible to lets say map multiple buttons on gamepad/joystick to send a keyboard command? lets say I want to map when I press Buton1+Button3+Buton4+Button5 and it will send SHIFT+F5 to the emulator running ? this will be helpful to save states and load states while using the gamepad. Thanks
