  1. Never mind. I figured it out. The error was caused by a disconnected gamepad. Connecting the gamepad before launching half-life 2 from GameEx resolved the issue.
  2. I have an emulator group called "Modern PC Games" that I would like to use to launch links to PC games on my machine. I only have a couple of links in there right now: Spelunky and Half-Life 2. GameEx launches Spelunky perfectly, but when GameEx launches Half-Life 2, I get a "Failed to Create D3D Device" error. I am able to launch Half-Life 2 directly (outside GameEx) without error. The log file (attached) leads me to believe that the problem may be related to problem initializing my game pad. Here are a few lines from the log file: 15:43:12.5 11/12/2012: Initialising DirectInput for Gamepad support 15:43:12.8 11/12/2012: Unable to create a joystick device 15:43:12.8 11/12/2012: Resuming Last Status Any ideas? log.txt GameEx.ini
