  1. I think this is just normal behaviour with PinballX as it does its upmost to make launching games seamless and hide windows.
  2. It might be a little bug. Please try the attached. PinballXx64.zip
  3. Sorry, not a had a chance yet. Don't even have a working pfx 3 setup on the cab right now. You said you are using cabinet mode with fx3 though. The wait for setting should have no effect with cabinet mode. Other than that loading gifs can cause issues.
  4. Ill see if I can do something about this for the next release.
  5. Hi, sorry for not replying sooner guys, but right now these would be feature requests. Cheers. Tom.
  6. Should be fixed in 15.66. Now available.
  7. I found the problem. It is a bug. Will be fixed for the next release.
  8. Whats in the unzipped folder? Can you delete the files from explorer.
  9. Mine does not say %userprofile% but actually shows the path to my user profile. Did you get those values from where I said, or elsewhere? If its not a rights issue it may be the attributes on the files. Maybe they are flagged as hidden, readonly or system. Has the system been upgraded from an old version of windows or had a botched install? Have you moved your user profile?
  10. Sorry, Here it is. GameEx.zip
  11. Okay, please try this replacement GameEx.exe. If that does not work, go into control panel -> System -> Advanced system settings. Click on environment variables and let me know what temp and tmp are.
  12. Im not sure. More information would be helpful. Is the issue with a recent version of GameEx? Did it used to work? What exactly is in the 7zip files? Are there folders or subfolders within them?
  13. The following is very odd: Running: cmd.exe /c C: GameExConfig.exe Its probably screwing things up. I think that is a very old program that has not been included with GameEx for several years. Otherwise almost certainly a permissions issue.
  14. Existing files are deleted before each extract. So you will only ever have one rom in that folder. I don't really see what the problem is? Although I will make it delete the folder on exit of GameEx for next release.
  15. Actually I did see a bug. The auto configure setting was wiping out the controls if it was turned on. Will be fixed for next release. Probably tonight.,
  16. I just wanted to point out that this setting is not enabled by default. It has to be turned on. It will also be turned on if the user selects to install Visual Pinball from the installer. I don't believe it is anything to do with the latest version particularly.
  17. For regular GameEx there is a paging button that can be configured for both gamepad and keyboard. Press this together with left and right for alpha paging or up and down for normal paging. If configuring controls is causing an issue or not working for you that is a different issue altogether. For that please post your log.txt file and GameEx.ini file. Thanks. Tom.
  18. Again, happy to take a look if you get it to me. Your a registerd user so you could upload it to the ftp if it wont send in a pm? But all it can be is the changes to ini file processing It will be easier for me to fix if I can duplicate it easily but Ill look at the obvious anyway.
  19. Pretty sure your command line is wrong for BAM. Although cant recall exactly what you need /STAYINRAM or similar and remove /ARCADERENDER. This comes up quite a lot. Also you are launching notepad.exe. You've turned on launch before, launch after.
  20. Sorry that was such hard work. I try to avoid that happening! Glad you got it figured out though.
  21. Im not seeing any inssue here just to let you know., Maybe try installing again?
  22. most of those show up for me if I disable the verify. For the others unfortunately MAME has the wrong data. That will need to be fixed in MAME itself.
  23. PS: gun and spinner is a different issue I think. Will look. Examples?
  24. Should be fixed in 15.65. Now available.
  25. Yeah, I don't think its on my end. The main changes in the latest update were improved gamepad support and faster ini file processing. There was a very lsmall change to the video code but I be hugely surprised if it would make any kind of difference. I would also try going into lav settings and disabling the 32 bit video checkboxes. That is a known issue on some systems. Im well aware those videos can cause an issue because they are encoded as 4:4:4. If your display cant support them check those lav settings. Note that unchecking those formats does not disable support for them LAV will convert them.
