It probably is launching but exiting with a log. Please share it. I expect you switched to the 64 bit version and you need to deal with flash.ocx. Its explained in the log file,,
Ill look into the error. I don't see why it wouldn't be like that going forward but its kind of not official way of checking. Sure we can figure it out though if you have issues in the future.
So I got a little motivated and I updated UltraDMD to work with the latest version of XDMD and latest windows and libraries.
Im going to include the source with XDMD once i clean it up commit.
Hopefully should just work and that's it. I've only tested on Windows 10 but the whole point was to get it up to date.
With this release it has the potential for 64 bit binaries and real DMDs.
It should natively support PinDMD2 and 3 and also supports dmddevice.dll to work with any other DMD.
I hope I am not stepping on toes but I just kind of went on a mission with it.
Enjoy!
Thanks for the update.
I am guessing for GameEx need to do following:
Download c# version.
Ensure .NET framework 4.5 installed.
Rename exe file to HiToText.exe
Place renamed exe in GameEx install folder.
?
Okay, so tables are launching now, yes?
There were some changes with real DMDs surrounding LAV codecs. Do me a favour and please install latest version of LAV (both 32 and 64 bit).
Did you happen to click the checkbox for pindmd2 support during install? Delete the demddevicexxx.dll files from te install folder. If its not that LAV is probably installed incorrectly.
Nothing changed in PinballX that would affect b2s files displaying grid or not. Did you perhaps select the option during install to install Visual Pinball?
I would check your paths in the setup wizard. Looks like they are wrong.
I wasn't aware there were any unfixed issues.
You posted a comment on the file though. Hard to do much with that if something actually needs addressing and comes across as a little disrespectful.
Please update to the latest version and report back.
Thanks.
PS: B2S with PinballX only works with 32 bit version.
So install the 32 bit version. As for pindmd3 check your LAV video settings. Ensure RGB 24 bit is enabled.
