  1. Ok, it's working with sample grabber setting. Thanks Tom !
  2. No, sorry. As the last GameEx update seems to be December 17, 2025, i didn't thought it was already in there. I'll check this. Thanks Tom
  3. Could the workaround be implemented in GameEx too, because it has the same problem with nvidia 59X.XX drivers. Is it on the roadmap ?
  4. Yes in my PC i have both a 2070ti & a 5070ti sharing the same driver. I use a passthru to the 2070 that is connected to a 15khz monitor, so the 5070ti is set a prefered GPU. But as both are Nvidia Cards and share the same 59x.xx driver, it doesnt work. With 58x.xx, no problem with this setup, videos are working. It's really related to NVIDIA Cards and 59x.xx driver problem The option "let windows decide" use the graphic card that your monitor is attached on. That is why the Mike trick works, because when you set prefered GPU other than Nvidia, videos are rendered with this graphic card, then passthrough to the NvidiaCard for display
  5. This works but you have to enable intel graphics on your intel processor (same for AMD processor with embedded graphics) or at least have a second GPU that is not NVIDIA If you only have a NVIDIA card and a processor without embedded graphics, use driver 58x.xx or older version for now
  6. Nvidia has abandonned some older functions with the 59x.xx branch, i don't think they will reimplement them unfortunately........Only old software are affected As you said i think Tom has to find a workaround if it's possible Stay for 58X.00 driver or older for now and it works
  7. The 59x.xx drivers seems to broke some NVENC functions on older software. It seems that NVIDIA has changed the API .No problem at all with 58X.xx. I have the same problem as HOL2001, no video but sound of the video is playing, so it's related to video decoding. Tested with a 2070 and a 5070ti, same problem with 59X.XX No problem with 58X.00
  8. Do you have an NVIDIA Card and driver 59X.00 ? Do you have the sound of the video but not the image ?
  9. BTW if i am the only one complaining about this issue and noone can replcate the problem, no need to spend too much time resolving this, i can live with 18.56 😉 But you are aware that at least 2 PCs have problems playing videos with 18.64 I could have tried to put an AMD card in one of the 2 PC or downgrade driver version to confirm but i think i'll keep the 18.56 for now, it takes me too much time to debug this, and as i'm the only one impacted, i'm going to move on to something else Thanks for help your Tom & Draco, it's really appreciated
  10. I have tested on two PCs : My game PC has 2 graphics cards, a 4070 and a 1030 from nvidia The second PC, for tests, has a 3070 Ti card from Nvidia Drivers are up to date on the 2 PCs I can replicate the problem on the 2 PCs No event in the event viewer on the 2 PCs when black screen appears with 18.64 I don't know what could be wrong between 18.56 and 18.64
  11. 18.56 works but 18.64 doesn't work, something is broken on 18.64 i think
  12. I downgraded to 18.50 on the second machine and video are working, and there is a trace in the log. Then i updated to 18.64 and black screen again with no trace in the log EDIT : 18.56 is working too, but not 18.64
  13. Yes but it's the same I tried to install Gamex, fresh install on another standard machine (Win 11 pro 23H2, like other system ) and it's the same, no log of launching video with black screen. Could it be Win 11 related ?
  14. I've updated my graphic card driver, disabled the second one, but it's the same. I don't know what is causing this issue, it's a bit strange. I'll try other tests EDIT : Added a video of the problem ( you could see that my screen is very dirty 😅) Video Problem.mp4
  15. No videos works like avi, mpg mkv from 320x240 to 1080p When i launch a video, there is fade zoom then black screen, and if i push back button, fade zoom and return to video menu I think it was working with this setup before on Windows 11, it's been a while since i played a video, but preview was always working. I'll update my graphic drivers.
