Stuck in Namco Gallery

After selecting a Namco game, e.g Galaga, I'm redirected to the Namco Gallery.

From there I'm unable to use any controls or keyboard input to get to the game.

Eventually, a timeout is reached and I'm automatically redirected to the game

I had selected originally. So, I'm in a holding pattern in the Namco Gallery

for a fixed period of time until my game loads.

Question:

Is there a way to disable the Namco Gallery and get straight to the selected game?

If not, how can I set the appropriate keys/controls for the Namco Gallery so I

can manually navigate to the game?

Yes. It's an Eladius running on Win7 quad core and the latest GameEx.

If I select 'Arcade Games' from the top-level menu, I get stuck for 30-60secs.

However, if I select 'Arcade Games Setup', I can navigate around the Namco

Gallery using the console controllers.

Unfortunatly there is not much that can be done. Scripts are used to launch the games and the only way to to ensure that games are launched 100% correctly every time is to have the delay. There is no way to tell when the galery has properly loaded and the scripts can contine, so there is really no other solution. Sorry.

HOWEVER:

As you have a fast machine in the cab you could recompile the scripts to have less of a delay. The scripts are located in the C:\gx folder and are compiled by running compile.bat. There is a global setting in one of the scripts that has the delay setting in it.
