I have been trying and fighting to get all my emulators setup correctly and Im about to give up. I have decided to see if I could pay someone to setup everything for me. I would send them my hard drive with a few roms of each system that I want setup. The only system I have running right is mame, I think. So if anyone is interested, please let me know.

I offer remote support for help. What kinda problems are you having? I'd rather you enjoy the experience of learning how to do things. Paying someone to set it up won't do any good as eventually some changes may be needed.

Sorry that you are having issues. I have a solid tech background and I will tell you when I first started to build my system there was a point about 3 weeks in where I almost threw in the towel. I would encourage you to keep learning and it will not take you long to master the basics. Once you have that everything will start to fall into place. That said, in some ways it will always be completely frustrating. After all, emulation is and always will be "iffy"..

In the end I agree with fRequEnCy though. While there are some very knowledgeable folks here, I believe you would end up regretting your decision to pay someone else to set up your system. I am not trying to give you one of those "do it yourself and it will be so much more rewarding!" schpeels. As mentioned, things will change, you will upgrade, new problems will surface, and without understanding how it all works you will find yourself tearing more hair out (and wasting more time/$$) than you are now.

There are a lot of great information/guides out there to help. I believe that Tom recently released a new version of his setup guide (http://www.gameex.com/Support/ConfigurationGuide.aspx)

arcadecontrols.com was also very helpful to me when I started.

I am sure some of the more senior folks here can give more ideas on where to get help.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

I could not agree more with this, i was in the same boat struggled for weeks but with the help of the gurus here i am getting a grasp of things, and its a lot more rewarding when you actually get an emulator to run with some help and you have a basic idea of whats what, i still ask for help as GameEx is so vast in what it can do that i sometimes stuggle or need a pointing in the right direction, sometimes it simple as use the advance config editor and try .... usually does the trick, but i would say please stick with it, it will all fall into place, and there are some very usuful guides on here to help.
