Paging - Key

hi..

i have Paging-Key enabled. Alphabetic Paging works only when i move the joystick to left or right and press the paging key.. when i press the key first then it jumps to the homescreen?!..

please fix this.

Do you have the home key mapped to the alpha key as well? I've never heard of this problem before (but it doesn't mean it doesn't exist).

mmh.. not really.. i have testet some other key definitions..

Can you please give me an example of where it jumps to the home screen. Does it do it for all letter key presses or just certain ones? If you have certain custom keys enabled these will overide the letter select. I suspect that is the issue. Its just by design.

Edit: Also in your config you hage letter select disabled, so its not going to work anyway. This setting is under input settings.

when i press the paging key frist then it jumps to the homescreen.. i must pressing first the cursorkey left or right and hold and then use the paging key, then it jumps to the next letter.. but by pressing the cursorkey first the line goes up/down in the gamelist

Your using space as the paging key, correct? As per your custom input setup? If so this sounds like a bug. Ill look at it.

EDIT: The only thing I can see that would cause this is if simple mode is turned on. Standard paging is not supposed to work in simple mode. Are you using simple mode?

I use Interface Mode: normal

Yes. Space is my Paging Key. I have an Cab with tree Buttons. The Buttons have Mame like definitions.
