I recently set it up on mine, although I haven't spent too much time on it, given that I'm going to be rebuilding my PC in a few weeks when my new TV cards arrive.

To avoid confusion, make sure PinMame/Visual Pinball is working outside GameEx (http://www.mameworld.net/easyemu/pinmameguide.htm)

The only concession I had to make, was extracting the .zip files to .vpt files. I'm sure there's a way to do this (I'm pretty sure I had MameWAH working with ZIP files for PinMame), but as I said, I didn't spend too much time on it, and couldn't be bothered writing a wrapper for it.

Here's a snippet from my GameEx.ini (I probably got this myself from http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=3) :

[Emulator_3]

Enabled=True

StartPageName=Pinball Games

TitleText=Pinball

StartPageLogo=pinball

RomFilter=*.vpt

RomsInFolders=False

ROMPath=F:\emulation\emulators\vpinball\Visual~1\Tables\Classics

SnapPath=F:\emulation\emulators\vpinball\artwork

WorkingPath=F:\emulation\emulators\vpinball\Visual~1\Tables\Classics

ReplaceDash=True

ReplaceUnder=True

RemoveBrackets=True

AlsoLaunch=[apppath]\vpauto.exe

ShowDesktop=True

Debug=False

OLDatZip=

Command=..\..\vpinball -play -"[ROMFILE]"

TitlePath=F:\emulation\emulators\vpinball\Flyers

BoxPath=

LaunchAfter=

Oops, one more thing - make sure you use the vpauto.exe as listed above, or some other wrapper, to make VP quit cleanly when [esc] is hit. If its not included with GameEx by default, it'll be available for download somewhere in this forum.

Cheers,

Brett

Thanks for your help. I was able to find the file in this forum but, where do I put vpauto.exe?
