I just bought Gameex and am having a problem with all the emulation software. I see the roms listed. I click play and then a black screen comes up and after a few seconds it goes back to the play game screen. It does this for Mame, Snes and Steam. I have roms installed. I believe I have the correct paths. I have verified that the roms work outside of Gameex.

I am currently running Gameex on Windows 7 64bit edition. Any help would be appreciated.

See attached. I have removed everything except one Mame game 005 for testing purposes. Let me know what you see. I'm new to this.log.txt

The problem is in your command line.

Running: cmd.exe /c C: C:\Emulators\MAME\mame.exe 005 -rompath C:\Emulators\MAME\roms -nowindow -joy -skip_gameinfo -bezel -artwork_directory artworkgameex

And just for argument's sake, the next entry is different for some reason:

Running: cmd.exe /c C: mame.exe 005 -rompath "C:\Roms\MAME\Roms"

I would start by making sure your MAME path is correct, and maybe post your MAME INI so we can have a look at that too. It definitely shouldn't be doing that.

GameEx doesn't switch command lines for me like that... Something screwy here for sure.
