use database name?

When setting up emulators under where you select the database there is anotehr drop down box called "use database name" yes\no. How exactly does it effect the game list\rom names?

Well if your roms match up, then simply put it would list the database name. Usually the common name compared to the rom name like Super Mario Bros. vs. Super Mario Bros. (USA) (Eng). Oh what have you. Something along those lines. Just have to look at the databases to see the names listed.
