[RESOLVED] GameEx and Windows Media Center

Hey Tom is there a way to rename the main menu entry GameEx installs on Windows Media Center as you have it as My Games ans I want to rename it to just GameEx. Just not sure how to go about renaming it in Windows Media Center.

In the registry, navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Extensibility\Categories\Start Menu\{3de6904a-d9c7-4ef9-b77d-c1216b39161a}. Double click on Title and change from My Games To GameEx. This does change the registry, so be careful! Backup it up if need be. I guess I could have just created the change for you but I don't wanna be responsible for messing with your registry.

No problem! Keep in mind that this will be overwritten during updates. You can always just create a file to make the changes for you so that you can apply them from the file instead of within Regedit. Then you can just click on the file and the changes will be applied. This will be easiest to apply after an update. Marking as [RESOLVED]!
