Somebody give me a walkthrough here. I would really appreciate it.

GamEx is the only front end that I cannot get to work. After trying numerous front ends, GamEx is by far the best and I would totally donate if I could just get it to work. When I scan for games to update my list, it only shows about one third of my games. My other front ends show the full number available. When I do pull up a game, and try to play it, it goes to a black screen and then back to the GamEx menu. I hope someone can give me a hand with this. I've tried reading other posts, but could not follow too well and couldn't tell if other people were having my exact problem.

Thanks in advance

Here is my log...

Blah Blah Blah......

Thanks for looking at this.  I really appreciate it!

Nevermind. I solved the problem. I actually stumbled across the solution by accident. I thought it would be cool to install the MAME screensaver. So I did. It worked great except for the fact that it would not bypass the game disclaimer. In my efforts to solve my first problem, I had noticed in my trouble log that there was a command line called -skip_disclaimer. So I went to teh screen saver settings (thinking that I was the man) and typed the command line. Well, now the screensaver wouldn't load. So I put 2 and 2 together and thought that maybe my original problem was that command line in my GamEx settings. So I found it and deleted it and now GamEx loads my games.

That's the solution to my major problme. My other question was why GamEx only loads about 1/3 of my games.

Not to open Pandora's box....but is there a way to bypass the disclaimer? Obviously there is a command for it, so maybe for some it works. Or maybe I should just search the forum for a post addressing this question.

Anyway, I hope this helps anyone else having this problem.

How does the screensaver work if you can't get past the disclaimer? I think it would be cool if the screen saver shuffled through title pages for each game after a minute or so. You don't necessarily need to play a game for the a screensaver.
