on some emulators when you highlight a game it gives you 4,5,6 or more lines of info about the game like youd get on a back cover for example my question is where are these stored and can i alter them or add to them, reason being i want to create some for other emulators that have no info when you highlight the game?.

Thanks. SM

Its a database file that you can point GameEx to and it will show a brief description of each rom. This is also based on your rom naming also, NoIntro, TOSEC etc. If you don't have these already inside your data file, you can always download these from the forum here and show the path to the .mdb file with Advanced Configuration.

The files are located in the DATA\EMULATORS directory of your GameEx install. They are databases, so programs like Microsoft Access can open them.

My MAME database is 5.81MB. Maybe try reinstalling the databases. MAME is useful for arcade emulators that share the same rom names for Arcade systems setup as stand-alone emulators.
