Im having a strange problem dont know if youve ever had this, i was playing winuae ( in gameex ) when i exit gameex a few keys dont work ( m and p ) which i remapped in winuae, i have to log off and back on to reset the keyboard and also another problem is when i exit gameex my display alters to a black background screen and i have alter the display settings to get my windows 7 theme back ???

The second sounds to me like your GameEx is crashing as opposed to quitting. That happens to me if GameEx crashes.

2nd issue has been resolved by setting Hide Desktop to No in Display settings. 1st issue is being worked on. Probably emulator not closing correctly is causing this is my first guess.
