I can't get Kega to run 32x roms through GameEx. It works fine being run directly, mind you. When I try to run it through GameEx, however, I load to the SegaCD opening screen. Depending on which BIOS I have loaded, it either prompts me to press the START button, or "Reset" to open the CD drive. Kega is working fine within GameEx as a Master System, Genesis, and SegaCD emulator, so I'm doubly confused with the difficulty I'm having getting 32x games to work. I've set it to give me debug info, and it's doing everything right; at least, it's doing the same things all of my other emulators do, which are working correctly.

Here's my config:

Thanks in advance for the help!

The incorrect switch is being used in the command-line to run 32x. The switch for Sega CD is being used. Please click on my signature for the correct one for this system.

Thanks! That totally fixed it, and I learned a little about how GameEx starts emulators. Winning!

Yay! Glad you got it fixed. And welcome to the forums!

Sorry for bumping/hijacking this thread. But I'm having some trouble with getting GameEx to launch 32x roms via Fusion. I even put in Fusion.exe -32x -fullscreen "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

but upon launching a game it takes me back to GameEx. Here is my configuration.

If you're trying to launch a Genesis game using this config it won't work, and I see you're using a Genesis rom folder. To test I would try taking the -32x switch out and try running a game, or put your 32x roms in a different folder.

That's actually where my 32x roms are located lol. Sure I'll try taking out the switch. If that doesn't work I'll move the 32x roms.

The 32x roms work outside of GameEx right?

Yeah they do. Just checked to make sure they do.

It's best to start another topic. Especially if it's been marked as [RESOLVED]. Please run in debug mode as it will show why it's not working. Command-line looks fine from here.

Sorry for not creating another thread man I probably should have. Btw I did get it working. I just re-imported the 32x Fusion from teh drop down box and now it seems to be working. Not sure what the exact cause was though.

Ahh may have been an emu cache problem? Either way glad you got it working! :)
