[RESOLVED] problem with favorites list

I cannot seem to add some "emulated" games to my favorites list. I have the newest version of Demul set up as 2 separate emulators (Naomi and Atomiswave), and even though it allows me to add a game (I get the message "added to favorites"), the game is not in the list. I have tried updating my lists, but nothing changes. Both emulators work in GameEx. I can add and or remove any MAME, Zinc, Model2 or Daphne game just fine. The only other system I have currently in Emulated games is ZSNES, which also works fine when adding games to the favorites list.

Also, Ive noticed that Zinc, Model2 and Daphne games do not show up in the screen saver, which I only have showing favorites. I'm using the newest version of GameEx and Window 7.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have the same problem,also another arcade emulator games dont show either when added to the favorites list

Thanks Frequency, Ive tested it multiple times with different configs, and nothing seems to work.

Unless this is exclusive to the latest version I don't have this problem. I just added Road Rash 3 to my favorites list two revisions ago and it's there.

Just to chime in again, this is not a problem on my machine. My favorites list is working fine.

I cant seem to post any of these files. Everytime I get a "post too long" message. When I try to upload any of these 3 files, I get a message " you are not permitted to upload files of this type". What should I do??

You can zip them or change the file extension to txt.

I was messing around with it and it seems to be a issue with the MAP File for the EUM. I removed the map file and I was able to add the games to my Fav list when I added the .map file the name of the game in the FAV list did not change to match the .map file it stayed the name of the rom.

I think the issue is because the roms in the map file don't have extensions. Favorites and most played etc check to make sure it can find the file before listing it.

That's gonna cause issues then because arcade emulators usually need the Executable followed by [ROM] switch, not [ROMFILE]. I did a quick test with one and it didn't recognize the rom. I would say the fix would be in the map file but then that's not really gonna work. Can't it be listed by using filters (i.e. rom.*) somehow in favorites and most played?

I will try to add .zip after one of the roms and see if that helps

The current release 11.62 still has this problem, so I assume Tom will fix it in the next release.
