Simbamame,

it depends on what naomi emulator you decide to use. I recommend Makaron or Demul. Once you try both emulators and pick one, we can get it sorted in Gameex for you. Both are pretty easy to get going.

My very recent experience with Naomi emulators has had me settle on makaron. I tried makaron nulldc and Demul, many versions of each. Demul would be the best because it is the only one that supports screen rotation for ikaruga. However Demul had audio issues on my setup. Makaron runs well enough with functioning audio but the controls for keyboard are a pain to set up. You have to enter what I assume are hex codes for each key in a text file. Not all keys are available either. For instance I ran into the problem of not being able to assign the equals key. Another issue with makaron, it does not support keyboard input for dreamcast, only naomi.

By the way Brian, I wound up reassigning all of my buttons differently from the default name settings. People hitting alt enter in 4 player games got old real fast.

Yes it is hex codes, hopefully your = is on 4player or something that doesnt affect the majority of games.

I knew it would be easier just to remap your keys from non mame defualt. I know at first it seemed like a pain, but I and many others have done this just to save our sanity.

Thanks for the follow up.

Make sure you put DC.zip in with your roms folder. It kicked my butt for a while until I physically put, the DC.zip file into the configured rom folder. After that, just point Demul to the rest of the required items.
