Anoter SSF issue Please Help

_drivestatus_ play() error. Fatal error.

this the error i get right after loading a level in Final Fight Revenge. the only other game i have tested is Die Hard The Arcade i played for about 5 min no problem. so i wonder if its just a issue with final fight. if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it.

I think you may have answered your own question.....I think i have FF for saturn,do you have a u.s. or japan game?i know that if it is a japan game you have to use a script because it had to be selected from the ssf menu

UPDATE i now know that it is a japanese saturn game,and you would have to set the region to japan.

does this game work outside of gameex?

I found a interesting fact about this game.It was made by capcom USA for the saturn but only released in japan,but if your saturns internal clock is set to english,the game can be played in english!

im pretty sure its US version as i see no japaneese text in game during the 1 min before it crashes. i tested a few more games and panzer the dragon works fine. but sega rally wont boot at all just get the _drivestatus_ play() error. Fatal error. right away. any ideas?

Well it cant be a us version the game was only released in japan.and if your other games are working I would have to come the conclusion that the games you have are corrupt or you have japanese versions of the game.I have sega rally(US) and it works fine.they wont boot at all?have you tried setting the region to japan in the options panel of ssf?If they are japanese games they wont boot at all,and if they boot for a minute or so they most likely are corrupt.

Make sure you select the DaemonsTools drive as the default outside of GameEx! In SSF I mean.

yeah its weird if i change to japan then it will work for around a give me the error again after it loads the 2nd round?

Maybe it's the BIOS you're using?

im not using a bio u shouldnt need one with current version of SSF is what i thought was the case. i could be wrong

i tried all three bios and still have 4 out 10 games that i tested that give that error no matter what. either right when i boot or shortly after.

actually if you use a bios with ssf you will get better compatibility with some games
