I've been working more of the databases and also adjusting the ones I have already posted. It's a double edged sword with these. Because I am limiting each game to one entry and not accounting for the multiple versions that some ROMs have, whatever version you might have active, may not 'light-up' the info. Plus to make everything work correctly, you have to have each ROM name in each database matched as well. BUT... if you match what I have listed in these databases, you will be shocked to see how many emulators will cross each other and give you the many variations each console had of the same game.

Pac-Man, Q*Bert, Ms. Pac-Man, etc.. games like that will show the A2600, A5200, Intellivision, GBA, GBC... etc.. versions along with the MAME version in the game data. It's actually really cool to see provided you have everything matched.

At this point, I often ask myself, would it be better to have a GameEx Romset for each emulator that matches the name list in the GameEx databases?

All the best,

Do we have an easy way to check the status of our roms with the expected names in the database?

I done some work on he databases a couple of years ago but I haven't looked at them in a long time

I'm in the mood for doing some spring cleaning on my cabinet and would like to get as many games to have info and screenshots as possible.

I always thought about writing an app that would read the GameEx config and display a checklist type of table for each rom showing what was available.
