mame map file and other things

hey,

so i have 2 questions:

1. my mame roms are all coming up with the name of the .zip file and not the game name. in the folder with map files i am missing the [Arcade] MAME.map file. am i supposed to generate my own? or should i have this file already? i didnt generate any other ones and they're all there. if i'm supposed to generate one myself, can anyone point me in the right direction for doing that?

2. i want to make a menu that just has all arcade roms in one list. MAME, Zinc, CPS1, 2, 3, etc. Not separated into different lists, but launching in their respective emulators. I don't use mame for all those. i use different emulators. is this possible?
