I have a Copy for BlazeBlue arcade and the game goes to load then I get error: Game ex has encountered a error and has to shut down after seconds. I put a delay up to 9000 and the the game loads up and I can play till the key delay time is over then I get the error.

Please Help.

thanks

Don't know for sure, but perhaps this is a problem where GameEx doesn't know what process to watch. When GameEx tries to take over again, BlazeBlue (which is not a stable PC game but a hacked arcade title that natively runs on a Windows variant) gets broke. Try adding the BlazeBlue process to the advanced config for that emulator.

Also posting a log file after the crash may help us to determine what's going wrong here.

How Do I adding the BlazeBlue process to the advanced config?

I will post ini as soon as I get a chance

First, figure out what the actual BlazeBlue game's process is. Then, you can enter it into the .ini for the advanced config file you are using for that emulator. I think there's a tool that lets you edit that file right in the Advanced Config tool and/or the Setup Wizard. I haven't played with that in a while, but I don't think you have to manually edit the text file anymore (although doing so is certainly not difficult).

If it is the TypeX Arcade version, then the process is game.exe . There is a loader that you need to run against the games executable that allows it to run and hooks the controls. Typically it is Typexloader.exe game.exe

I have a couple titles I have yet to intergrate in a FE so I will take a look at making an elegant solution.

Thanks, What other Arcade games do you have like that?

Here is a loader that works, I just tested it. Import this config (attached) and use this loader.

Don't forget to edit your paths and working directory.

The loader assumes two files will be in the same directory as the game, the files are typex_loader.exe and game.exe

NOTE: You really probably dont need to use this to launch BBCS if you edit the advancedconfig to wait for game.exe to end before returning to Gameex..

Cool, let me know how it works out.

As far as Demul goes, I replied in the other thread how to get that going without a loader.

Makaron is another VERY good naomi emulater and does not need a loader either.

NullDC does need one, and I created one for that too. Its around here somewhere.

If you get stuck let us know and we will point you in the right direction.

I found the NUllDC loader was posted back in 2007 so that might be the issue. I just double clicked on it and nothing happened. Does it have to be used with GameEX or does that matter?

PS: Thanks fro your quick response.

You don't need to run gameex to use theloader, but it is designed to be run via command line.

Typically, nulldcloader.exe "c:\emualtion\naomi\maverlvscapcom2.lst"

With that said, its an old loader and probably will fail to work with the newest build.

I guess that is why :( Thanks.

I have Makaron T12.7 but am having issues configuring the JVS file for 2 Joysticks any Idea. I am using 2 Street Fighter 4 TE Fight sticks for XBOX 360 on my PC

I use an IPAC, not a x360 pad. Here is a working setup for ipac, it may point you in the right direction.

I have just got the 2nd player working using the mame default keys so if anyone wants it here is my jvs.ini
