Zinc black screen

ok,here is the classic "it runs outside of gameex" problem.I have zinc running perfectly,yet when I launch it through gameex the game launches,but I get a black screen i can hear the game running in the background.I cant wait until mame runs all zinc games pefectly,so i can uninstall and delete zinc forever.I have never,EVER had more issues with a emulator other then zinc.

ZiNc is a pain to setup. I really need to write up a tutorial on it. And it's such a pain to deal with because users use different ways of setting up. I'd have to cover them all. LOL. Anyways........ is the problem you're having with focus using the integrated part of GameEx or using as a stand-alone emulator?

Have you tried running it in gameex windowed ? in case there is a windows error or gameex error screen behind as i had this problem where windows has given an error,i had the black screen and could here the game running.

you know what it is.same as the other day when we tried using the runitgame.bat file,and while that does put a temp fix on the problem,it always comes back.yes it is the integrated zinc emulator.

I use aldo's FE to set up zinc,as it sets the paths and controllers.

interesting,when launching from windowed gameex the game gets focus just fine

User is having problems using the OpenGL renderer. When launching fullscreen GameEx steals focus and the emulator runs in the background. This issue is resolved when using the D3D renderer but not very helpful to the user as he has better performance using the OpenGL renderer. I was not able to duplicate this issue on my machine so any help would be appreciated. Only solution I would have is to run as a stand-alone emulator since you have more control of how the emulator is ran instead of using GameEx's integration. If you have any experience in this then please post a solution.
