i've searched everywhere and cant find an answer to my exact problem.

i've enabled gamepad exit in the advanced emu config. gamepad input is enabled. everything works fine.

i changed the custominput.ini buttons to match the ones i want to use for joystick exit, but it does not update. it still uses the old defaults. i've changed it in every instance of the custominput.ini file i can find. still nothing.

where the hell is it reading the button combo from?

Maybe it's under advanced emulator config somewhere?

If using an advanced emulator config this will override custominput.ini. That could be it or else custominput.ini settings could be invalid. I suggest posting it.

this was it. i assumed the advanced emu config just wasnt working cause it wouldnt display my current settings every time i loaded it. this should be fixed in the future releases as it's extremely annoying/confusing.

there was an old setting for joystick exit in one of the config text files in the gamex directory. a complete deleting of all advanced emu config text files did the trick in resetting it.

not sure which one it was.

thanks guys!
