For some reason, GameEx won't see my Sega Saturn Roms. I go to the games list, and it says "NO GAMES FOUND." Then...when I exit out and go back to the list, it shows me my SNES roms!!! I think this happened after I used the setup wizard to resort my emulators in advanced config. But I have no idea how to fix this....HELP! :o

Hmmmm. That's a new one on me. I would think maybe all the settings didn't get sorted correctly so they are messing up your lists. At this point I wouldn't try sorting again since the settings might not be correct. If it's just that emulator then you can always just verify the settings (path to roms, filters, and any other settings). There's a back up of your config as well that can be restored if all else fails. This backup is generated upon updates.

Just to chime in quick... You can go to Advanced Setup in the GameEx folder of the Start Menu and verify everything is correct there. :)

Yes, I tried verifying the setup through advanced setup, and everything checks out. I went to the ini files for the problem emulators, and everything checks out there as well. When I tried resorting the emulators, the same rom folders gave me trouble, they just picked up a different list. The trouble lists are saturn and game gear. Upon first sort mishap, GG roms disappeard, and saturn roms turned into GBA roms (which obviously weren't playable from that menu). It should be noted that the GBA list remains unaffected. Upon the second sort, Saturn roms turned into SNES roms, and GG turned into PSX roms. I have no idea whats happening here. If you think using a backup config would help, how do I access it?

In what way are you sorting? Perhaps there's a bug or something. Please give details so that I may troubleshoot. As far as the backup file, it's located in the CONFIG directory of your GameEx install. The file is called GameEx.UpradeBackup.ini. But as previously mentioned, it's a backup file made when an update is performed. You can just rename that file to the GameEx.ini to restore some settings before backups. May not be useful in your case unless you've recently upgraded. I've never seen this issue before so we need to figure out the cause.

I used the setup wizard to download and install some emulators. If you open the setup wizard and hit custom, you can just select certain aspects of the setup. So I picked download emulators and select emulators, and emulator settings. In the download emulators section, I switched out yabasue for ssf, then I clicked the sort button, and sorted by category. Since then, I've been having this problem. What other details can I provide?

Ok, fixed!! I went back to the setup wizard, deleted the trouble system emulators from the list, then added them again without re-downloading the emulators! woohoo! No I have to get back to configuring ssf :P
