I'm having a probelm with my PDF viewer. I've taken all my old gameroom mags and scanned and want to be able to view them & game manuals but the reader isn't installed. Is there a way to redo this portion?

Log & error message attached.

Merry Christmas!!

I'll confirm this. I use the offline installer all the time. :)

No luck. Is there a place to change the path? It looks like in my gameex log that it's looking for the following:

13:34:22.0 12/24/2010: PDF Viewer exe not found at: C:\Program Files (x86)\gs\gs\bin\gswin32c.exe

But my PDF Reader is installed in the Adobe directory.

GameEx doesn't use the Adobe PDF viewer it uses Ghostscript. Run the GameExSetup.exe again and select it from the list to install it.

Somewhat unrelated but is there a way to change the pdf viewer to something else? It takes gameex around 15-30 seconds to load a 2mb pdf file. I have an ssd drive so its not a speed issue because back in windows I use pdf xchange viewer and it loads in less than a second.

I coose the setup wizard and clicked the box for ebooks but nothing happened. Do I need to run a new setup. I'm just worried it will overwrite my settings.

Thanks.

You might want to try setting the eBook reader to normal quality.

It's not an option in the Setup Wizard. You have to run the GameEx installer again. Don't worry your settings will be safe.

It didn't make any difference in load time as far as I could tell. Still took over 30 seconds to load a 4.71mb pdf.
