[RESOLVED] Problem with videos in GameEx

I recently had to reinstall GameEx after crashing my hard drive and have come across an unusual problem. When I go to play a video under the Multimedia selection, it will play fine in the background. But once I select "Play video", it will play for a second, then stop. The video p[lays fine through other programs such as WMP or VLC. I didn't have this problem before. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Well, I thought I had it solved, but didn't, now again I think I do. After reading around on some other posts on similar topics, I uninstalled all my other codec packs and installed the Vista codec pack. So far, so good.
