Hello all,

I've started playing with Gameex recently and it is a wonderful piece of software. My only problem is that I don't know how to enter custom controls in MAME.

I'm trying to map the 1P/2P start and 1P/2P coin insert buttons to my two gamepads but don't know what the entry is supposed to be in custominput.ini. Is this even possible?

Also, is there somewhere I can go to find out MAME keyboard controls in general. I can access some service menus in the roms (like with Super Puzzle Fighter) and set it for freeplay. I'd like to be able to do this with all my most played games but some of them require setting switches and I don't know the keys for that.

Any help would be appreciated thanks!

ok that was embarassing, after about 5 minutes of searching for mame keys I figured out how to enter MAME's config screen by pressing tab once a game is loaded. key remapping and service menus/freeplay is all there... :D
