Can't display Jungle Hunt (King)

Hiya fellas... hope is all well and good with everyone. Glad to see Tom is still cranking away updates to this beast! Now to my question...

After a request for a specific title, Jungle King, I noticed it did not appear in my game list. I have the game, it's a good set, and it works fine outside of using GameEx. So after playing with every option in the wizard, I still cannot display either version of Jungle King. What gives? Am I missing something?

That game shows on my list so am sure it has to do with your filters. If all else fails, just add that rom to the Do Not Filter list and do an update to your list so that it will show.

I tried everything BUT that... Sounds like a good plan. I'll give it a go and see what happens.

What I see is this...

I turn-off all filters, and allow working only, no clones, and show brackets. Update the list, everything shows as expected. Then I went back in and turned on the usual clean-up filters, added jungleh and junglek into the "do not filter" over-ride, and turned off the brackets. I restart GameEx and I loose all occurrences of Jungle Hunt/King, including good non-bootlegs like (Japan), and (US).

I then go back into the Advance Configuration, check to see that everything I set is what I want... restart GameEx again, refresh the list... everything came back, and I mean EVERYTHING, all bootlegs, hardware, different regions... everything... which makes no sense to me. I go back in to the Advanced Configuration, check that everything is still turned on/off as above...save... restart GameEx and it all goes away again... including Jungle Hunt/King. So no matter what I do, I can't over-ride it. I have no idea why it's having this issue with Jungle Hunt. Everything else seems to be OK.

I think one of the rom filters is buggy because for some reason no matter what I use for filters all games/versions/regions show up in my list. Something somewhere is wonky for sure.

Yes, that's what I'm seeing. Either their all on, or when I enable the filter, it wipes many games out even if I have added them to the over-ride list

What version of GameEx are you running? I'm somewhere in the 10's as I have not updated it since last year.

I think so yeah... He told me that one of the filters was buggy. I'm just not sure which one(s) it is. I just gave up trying to find it and I let all the games display. Eventually I'll figure it out (I hope)!
