Upgrading from a three year old GameEx version (registered)

Hello.

I purchased a GameEx key almost three years ago, and have since upgraded to Windows 7 (reformat/reinstall). I have two questions.

1. The last version of GameEx I had installed was about 2 years ago. I had installed it to my emulation external drive, so when I reformatted my main drive, all of my GameEx configurations and themes were intact. If I were to download the latest version of GameEx and install it in that same location on the external drive, would it work? And, if so, would there be a lot of reconfiguring required to get it to function as it originally did?

2. Will my registration key from back in early 2008 still work for the latest version?

Thanks in advance.

1) Yes, the installation should retain all of your settings you had from before. I would keep a backup just in case something gets screwed up, but it should be fine. Please make sure you update all of your emulator/content paths if they are different.

2) Probably not. There was a change in the format of the key ~2 years ago that may make your key not work. Also, I don't know if it needs updating to work with Win7. Email Tom directly to request a new valid key.
