I want my Mame list to display only games that I actually have roms for, but as of now

it displays all games that you can have for mame (thousands of course).

I tried toggling the option

"Only existing roms" on and off in the setup wizard but that doesn't do anything?

Any Ideas. (I see an option for excluding certain roms, but does that mean

I'd actually have to sit and write a list of thousands of games)

Even Mamewah which isn't nearly as good makes it simple to display only games

you have.

Also how do I add new spinning 3d arcade machine things? Where and to what folder?

For your Roms in MAME, try "Update List" and make sure that in the advanced config you have it set to "Only Existing Roms".

As for the 3D cabs, you can grab those right off the GameEx website and put them in any folder, just make sure you show the path to them in your MAME confige.

Here is a linky for 3D cabs - http://www.gameex.net/Download/MediaandImages.aspx

That worked thanks, but where in the config refers to 3d cabs?

In either the Advance Config or the Setup Wizard under your MAME. There is a path you can set to show where your 3D cabinet files are.

As for the link, I opened it in a new tab (Firefox) and it took me to the GameEx download page. Works fine for me.

The download link does appear to be broken. I have reported to Tom!

And the setting for the 3d cabinet models can be found in Basic MAME Settings section. The setting is called 3D Cabinet Path where you can point to the path where you saved the files.
