Mounting the image isn't really required unless your images are in some type of format that the emulator doesn't support. Fusion will load images directly (supported images are: CUE/ISO, ISO/BIN). What type are your images? Even with your supplied command-line, it should still run. Try the following:

Fusion.exe -scd -fullscreen "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

Tip: If something doesn't run in GameEx yet it does in the emulator, always always always run in debug mode so that you can see the output window. It will give more detail on why something isn't working. ;)

once again you have solved my problem!but im wondering why does gameex enter the wrong command?when I set up a emulator I NEVER touch the command line entry line,as I thought gameex did that for you,as it does with most cart-based emu's....

so am I right to assume that a similar command line will do the same for turboduo?as Im having the same issue with that emu

The setups provided in some sense should work. I'm sure the one provided for fusion would work with some tweaking. I just didn't see a need for it since it could be done in the emulator itself (mounting the image I mean). I guess the people who have set it up that way could be more help as far as to explain on how that works.;)

The command-line looks good for that emulator. What problems are occurring with that one?

well magic engine will not run the games unless they are mounted,as per their WEBSITE ME does not read .iso,it only reads true cd's.now I have only a few roms to test, and they come in .rar format, after unzipping your are left with a .iso and a .cue file, which if I mount the .cue with daemon tools, then lauch ME,I can then click on boot cd and it will have the games name and I can click on it and play but in gameex it just loads ME,but doesnt run the game

Discussion on obtaining roms is against the rules.

Yes. Being mounted would be required. That is what the [-virtualdrive-] parameter does. It mounts the image using Virtual CloneDrive (must be installed). I don't see daemon tools being launched in the provided config. But if that's what's being used then there might be confliction. So do you plan to use daemon tools to launch your images?

oh,ok!im going to install virtual clone drive now,to keep it simpler,so after VC is installed,i can just leave the command line as it is?

Correct! But if mounting the .cue file then I suggest using Daemon Tools as I've had a discussion before about VirtualClone Drive not mounting the image using the .cue file. Daemon Tools just supports more image types and I personally suggest using it instead (just my opinion). If Daemon Tools is used then setup would require using the launch before setting to enter the command-line needed to mount the image with Daemon Tools and then remove the [-vitrualdrive-] parameter from the command-line.

ok,so im going with daemon what is the command line for launch before?

While searching for one of my previous topics, I stumbled across this. It is very useful and informative. There are many topics on this as well out there. I will provide some of this info in my user submissions stickied thread for future reference.

ok i got alot of useful info from there,im still a little lost regarding the command line quoted from hansolo77"setup your command line to point to your emulator, having it read an image on D: (or drive of choice)"......this is my command line"pce.exe "syscard3.pce "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"...what is my command line supposed to be?

Would just be:

pce.exe syscard3.pce

ok this is what i have plugged in the also launch line"C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools\daemon.exe" -mount 0,"[RomPath]\[RomFile]"but it doesnt mount the image,my question is where it says -mount 0,is that 0 supposed to be changed to my virtual drive letter?or to something else?

Needs to be in the launch before. In needs to be mounted before the emulator. If using the also launch then it will run along side the emulator and not mount for the emulator. 0 is correct. That means it mounts on the 1st drive that daemon has set up. Unless you have daemon tools using multiple ones would this need to be changed.

Please verify paths and verify commandline for daemon tools. If using daemon tools lite then look here. It all depends on your system.

AHA!!!!!SUCCESS!!! if i can make a suggestion, and maybe this is known by older users, but im sure that there will be some newer users that will make the same mistake as me.and my mistake was copying and pasting command lines like this one

"C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\DTLite.exe" -mount 0,"[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" for some reason when copying and pasting it adds spaces after "Files" and also after the comma.just dont want anyone else to go through the frustration I have today

Ahhhhh those darn spaces! They can ruin everything. Where was the source you used to copy? Usually when posted in a code box then it should copy over just fine. Maybe it's the forum software that is causing this..don't know. But am glad you got it sorted out.

it was this oneHERE

im so happy that i got this sorted, and i especially dont want another new user to go through that, especially when everything LOOKS correct!

also,the(x86)isnt necessary

Yeah. That would be for a user who uses a 64bit OS. So settings would be different per user.
