I just set up GameEx, used Windows Media Center 9 to load all songs but when I try to use the Jukebox function GameEx closes and the log.txt file appears. Crashes every time.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Can you try turning off 'Load Playlst on Thread' under Tweaks/Performance, and let me know if that fixes it?

I had the 'Load Playlst on Thread' option already disabled, but just to be sure, I just re-ran the the config and tested the Jukebox again. Same problem.

The final line in the log.txt file reads:

'20 Consecutive Errors Occured: Exiting'

Still no luck.  Attached is the log.txt file that I receive.

Thanks for looking into this for us!

Did you deffinitly replace GameEx.exe with the version I uploaded.

your log file does not seem to be a debug version.

Maybe I did not upload the right version. Please get the version I just uploaded and try again.

Thanks.

Tom,

I tried the latest file and still can't get past the initial screen for Jukebox.

Really not sure what might be wrong here...

I am getting closer, WE WILL do this!

Please try latest version and post log.

We are much, much closer now.

When I go to the Jukebox, I CAN see all my songs, artists, ablums, etc.

But I CANNOT select my own songs under the various artists. The Jukebox plays whatever song it feels like.

Thoughts?

P.S. The log.txt was 33Mb this time around...thought I would save some space and not post it.

Hi, Here is a non-debug version.

Please experiment and provide more feedback. What you are experiencing may well be by design as youve not used it before.

Please play around, and provide more info once youve had a chance.

Thanks,

Tom

Tom,

Did some testing yesterday and here is where I am now...

GameEx boots up and then I select Jukebox. Once the Jukebox loads, I see all of my CDs (Mp3s) catagorized and ready to be listened to. Just like in Media Player.

But this is where I am having difficulty... I can select the first song that I want to listen to. ONLY the first song. After that, I have no control over where the Jukebox takes me.

When I highlight another song with my mouse or X-Arcade controller to select a different song, nothing happens. The system simply continues to play what it wants to.

Thoughts,

Alonzo

It does actually sound like this is by design rather than a problem, the songs are actually 'queued'.

When you select the first song is starts a new queue, after that selecting a song adds them to the queue
