The default back (backspace) should work unless you changed it. To disable it, go to the HTML Applications setting page and in the drop down Select HTML App, select GameEx homepage and on Enabled set to No.

Thank alot the info was helpful.... I have a couple more questions. How do you disable the EMULATOR GAMES AND MULTIMEDIA AND BY CATOGORY, BY MANUFACTURE AND BY SYSTEM BUTTONS.... Also I have a touch screen monitor that works great with gameex except for that I can highlight all the text commands but the touch screen does not work for taking me to the next screen,,, does anyone know what the problem may be????

You can use simple mode under display settings. Ensure your running a version 3 or v4 theme (V3 is the default theme). You disable the others by disabling the emulators, under enable/disable and multimedia setting, or individually if using the setup wizard. Did you turn on touch screen support under input settings?

Yes, the touch screen support is turned on. I am using the MEDIA CENTER theme, which I think is version 3. With this theme, I am now able to access the next screen not by tapping but by TOUCHING MY SELECTION AND RUBBING MY FINGER ACROSS THE HIGHLIGHTED FIELD. It sounds strange, but this is the only way I can activate the next screen. Im sure the the monitor is working correctly because I am able to access all field perfectly in configuration and it works fine for all other programs. I only have problems when I am trying to click into a next screen in GAMEEX.....Also, is Media Center a version 3 theme. If not could you direct me to locate a VERSION 3 or 4.... please help... thanks PS I am new to the arcade field, and trying to learn about mame and frontends...
