pc games from cd-roms

I just loaded GameEx today and it was very easy to use. My question is what is the best way to run pc games that require the cd to be in the cd drive. Outiside of GameEx I was using a program calle Game Jackal (www.gamejackal.com) that created a virtual file that would allow you to play the game without the cd. You had to start Game Jackal to start the pc game. Is there a way to use this with GameEx or should I create virtual drives. If I have to use virtual drives what would be the best way? I am pretty new to this and really just learning so my technical jargon may not be up to par but I would appreciate any help. Thanks

Is there a way to preview the skins in the config program? That would be a great feature.

I second this question. Was thinking of getting MadDog Mcree and some other laser games added to my GameEx install and wondered how to do it without having to load the cd everytime. Just dump the contents to a folder?

You can use Daemon Tools to mount a CD/DVD image on a virtual drive using it's command line options (-mount).

You can make a batch file that will mount the image, then launch the game.

You can just copy mad dog to your hard drive & run it from there. The game has no protection
