Maybe this has already been suggested, but you could set Zinc up as a separate emulator (not integrated) and then use the mameemumap.ini to integrate it...then keep it displaying as its own emulator. That way, you have it built into the MAME list and it shows up as its own list too. I've done it this way in the past and it works quite well.

I think I may try that,bk.this emulator is driving me to drink,EVERYTHING else works completly correct, now the vid snaps will not play when zinc is a seperate emu,but when integrated they play fine.............arghhh!!!!

LOL. That's what I did too. Still not perfect though as there's 71 roms in a ZiNc set. :P

Oh, maybe that's why I don't use it as a separate emulator. laugh.gif

There is another way though. Set up a custom menu with just your Zinc games in it and put that in your menu. It will create a menu with any MAME games you have in it, but since those are just Zinc games, it will only play them with Zinc. It should get around the problem with videos and such. Of course, you can't use it anywhere in a custom menu setup, it has to go where it's defined by Tom (for now anyway).
